Plan a warmer outfit
Compare equipment without confusing insulation with body temperature.
Check all eight slots
The warmth planner includes helmet, eyewear, jacket, tactical rig, gloves, pants, boots and backpack slots. Equipment can contribute different values for insulation, frost armor, light armor and damage reduction. Select one piece per slot and compare the totals, then save the outfit under a name you will recognize.
Treat totals as equipment stats
Insulation is an equipment value, not a countdown until freezing. Weather, cold zones and the game’s temperature systems introduce other conditions. The planner sums known values and leaves unsupported predictions out. Compare the source temperature and status tables before planning a longer route.
Plan the return
Enable cold zones, campfires and fast travel on the map. A stronger outfit can be useful, but it does not remove the need to identify a return route. Keep spare equipment or a follow-up crafting plan in a saved list, and use personal map notes for reminders that should stay private.
